Known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” Rwanda rests just below the equator. This landlocked nation is at a high altitude and has one of the 20 deepest lakes in the world Lake Kivu.
Rwanda has three national parks and most of the large mammals are found here. Animals inhabiting the lands are the Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Colobus Monkey, Giraffe and Elephants.
