Senegal provides an excellent representation of many of West Africa’s native ecological communities. The country stretches from semi-arid Sahel savanna in the north to the tropical forest with 60 inches of annual precipitation in the south, and from the wooded hills to the southeast to mangrove-lines estuaries.
Its wildlife parks in the northern part are known as Lles de la Madeleine, Langue de Barbarie and Djoudj and most of the wildlife is found within this regions.
